I purchased this saw for my guy for Christmas a year ago. Although he hasn't got much use out of it, when he has used it he liked it. It's heavy and seems to be able to handle anything you try to cut with it. I was a little leery about getting a refurbished one, but that hasn't seemed to make any difference.
