I purchased this Drill and the Sub-Compact Driver as my first Milwaukee experience. Needless I've already been to the service center twice for the compact driver since the batteries keep flashing "bad" in the charger after a few months.
The 2601 drill experience started well but then the past few months about a year later I'm finding the drill is powerless at drill speeds. In addition, now the batteries won't last over 15 minutes before needing a recharge to regain any power.
So we are off to the service center again. I purchased a Milwaukee Sliding Compound at Christmas Time but after these frustrations I ended up taking it back to the store in an unopened box for a store credit. There is nothing more frustrating than not having the power when you need it.
