The Kreg screws have such a high hardness that with just a few slips the driver's tip will show wear. I've tried square drivers in several different brands and didn't find the Kreg special- it seems about the same as Irwin. The Senco EA0123 5" lg square drivers that I recently picked up on sale at HD seem to hold up better than both the Kreg and Irwin.
